We believe each person and business has their own uniqueness. We do not have category restrictions. Instead, this is a place to meet and collaborate with fellow business experts.

Business doesn't have to be all formal. We believe people do business with people, not brand names. We encourage members to get to know each other in fun ways. We even award points for engagement!

The most successful business relationships are built on the "Know > Like > Trust" factors.
Over the years of networking, we noticed that everyone builds relationships differently. It takes multiple touchpoints and interactions until we feel comfortable in referring business to others.
That's why we include various ways to network. We do host weekly meetings (currently virtual only) However, attending them is not required for membership because our online platform provides connection so you can build rapport outside of weekly meetings. Collectively, all of these ways help build the relationship to get you to the trust factor
Our personalized profiles and member directory give you the options on how you want to network. You can elect to be open to new 1:1 curated introductions from our Founders--or not. You can update your profile if you get busy and need a break. Or you can elect to only make connections on your own. It's up to you!
Community... Not Competition.
Networking not only builds business referral relationships, but it also creates the opportunity for collaborations.
No, we aren't saying that everyone meets a business partner here... but we are saying people in similar industries have come together to combine content and audiences for a more powerful show of information.
We've also seen the magic in our "need help" area... where members are able to ask for advice or suggestions on who can help them with something specific... even a job for their daughter!

This can be done through our online chat channels, participating in, or facilitating one of our brainstorming sessions. We've actually have had members gain clients as a result of brainstorming together!

Not everything is serious
Have you ever been to the business meetings where everyone goes around and gives their pitch, and by the time everyone's had their turn the meeting is over? Yeah, we have too. That's why we don't do things that way.
We host a variety of networking events, happy hours, and learning sessions.
It's up to you how much you want to engage in. (P.S. All events are currently virtual. Click here to see our upcoming events).
Our networking events are interactive and discussion-based. We've even been known to throw in a game of Bingo or "would you rather" every now and then. Members find these an awesome opportunity to connect and learn about each other.
Other ways we encourage a fun community include;
In April of 2019, Erica and Anna met through a networking organization which matched them up as potential strategic partners. Within two weeks their companies were doing business together, and continue to do so today.
As active power networkers, they both belonged in dozens of organizations. In the summer of 2020 they decided to take their favorite networking aspects and combine them into one powerful group-- and in August 2020, Philly Business Connect was born.
Erica is the founder and managing director of Poka-Yoke Solutions, a boutique business process and efficiency consulting firm.

Anna is an HR Consultant and Director of Business Development at Converge HR Solutions based out of Malvern, PA.

Philly Business Connect is best for business owners and business development professionals working in the Greater Philadelphia area. This includes the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, and New York.
Anyone regardless of location is welcome in the Philly Business Connect Facebook Group.
The free Philly Business Connect Facebook group is an easy way to connect with other businesses, business owners and business professionals in the Greater Philadelphia area.
The paid membership is $150 a quarter or $500 a year. It includes an online community forum, not hosted on Facebook. It also includes a password protected membership platform where the private membership directory and recorded content from experts within the group are hosted. Members receive invites to bi-monthly online events and in-person events. You'll connect with other members one on one when you are paired up in our Member Match-Up program. Want to promote yourself and your business? Members can nominate themselves in the Member of the Month feature. Members are mentioned in the monthly newsletter, website, plus they can speak on a topic during an online meeting.
Philly Business Connect is open to B2C or B2B businesses.
Members may not solicit fellow members or they will be removed.

We keep the membership value packed with information and connections! Based on our analysis, comparable business groups cost between $400-$1200 per month, and we haven't found one yet which includes everything that we do!
Membership billing is handled automatically through our site. Our site is hosted on Kartra which is integrated to accept payments through both Stripe and Paypal.
Upon joining, you will be asked if you'd like to use Stripe or Paypal to process your membership payments. Whichever method you choose will then automatically bill the membership fee to your card on file on the same day every quarter or every year.
All payments are secure. Philly Business Connect LLP follows all payment compliance guidelines. Payment information is always encrypted.
